Arrival in Paro – Transfer to Thimphu
Upon arrival at Paro International Airport, you will be greeted by your guide and driver. Enjoy a scenic drive to Thimphu (1.5 hours). Upon reaching Bhutan’s vibrant capital, check into your hotel and relax. Spend the afternoon exploring Buddha Dordenma, a giant golden statue overlooking the valley. Visit the Memorial Chorten, where locals gather for prayers. Conclude the day with a stroll through the lively streets of Thimphu.

Thimphu Sightseeing – Drive to Phobjikha via Dochula Pass
Begin your morning with visits to Takin Preserve, home to Bhutan’s national animal, and the Royal Textile Academy, where Bhutan’s traditional weaving culture comes alive. Before heading to Phobjikha we will visit Simply Bhutan the living Museum in Bhutan, and then head to Bhutan Postal Museum to get personalized stamps to take as a souvenir back home. After lunch, drive to Phobjikha Valley (4-5 hours). Stop at Dochula Pass (3,100m), where 108 chortens stand against a backdrop of stunning Himalayan views. Upon arrival in the serene Phobjikha Valley, settle into your accommodation.

Gangtey Festival and Sightseeing in Gangtey
