  • DAY 01:

    Arrival-In the land of Thunder Dragon

    Upon arrival in Paro, you will be warmly welcomed, settle in and join your small group and tour leader for a welcome meeting. And immediately set off on a scenic drive to Thimphu, Bhutan’s vibrant capital. Along the way, we will make our first stop at Tamchoe Lhakhang, a revered temple known for its serene ambiance and beautiful architecture. After reaching in Thimphu we will visit the Memorial Chorten, a sacred stupa built in honor of Bhutanese leaders, offering breathtaking views and a moment of reflection. Next, we’ll pause at Buddha Point, where you can take in panoramic vistas and admire the peaceful surroundings. Our final stop for the day is Trashi Chhoe Dzong, a majestic monastic complex steeped in history and spiritual significance. Enjoy a welcome dinner featuring traditional Bhutanese cuisine.

    Immersing in the Wonders of Thimphu

    Wake up to the fresh mountain air of Bhutan’s charming capital, Thimphu, and get ready for a day filled with cultural treasures, spiritual serenity, and a touch of traditional wellness! We begin our exploration at the Zilukha Nunnery, a peaceful retreat where Bhutanese nuns devote their lives to spiritual practice.

    You’ll get a rare insight into their daily rituals and perhaps even hear their melodic chanting, adding to the tranquil ambiance of the place. At the National Textile Museum, discover the intricate artistry

    behind Bhutan’s handwoven fabrics and the significance of traditional attire like the Gho and Kira. Then, step into Simply Bhutan, a living heritage museum where you can try your hand at archery, learn about Bhutanese customs, and even dress in traditional attire for a memorable photo!

    As the evening sets in, we slow down and indulge in a rejuvenating Bhutanese wellness experience at 33 Soksoom Centre for Wellbeing & Happiness. Here, you’ll experience Chinglum Herbal Compression, a time-honored therapy that uses warm medicinal herbs wrapped in cloth to relieve tension, improve circulation, and promote deep relaxation.     Journey to Punakha – A Blend of Tradition, Spirituality, and Scenic Beauty

    Today, we embark on a picturesque drive to Punakha, a valley of lush rice fields, historic monasteries, and warm subtropical breezes. Along the way, we stop at the Desho Paper Factory, where you’ll witness the ancient Bhutanese art of handmade paper-making, a craft deeply rooted in Buddhist tradition. Next, we visit Simtokha Dzong, the oldest fortress in Bhutan, built in 1629. This architectural gem, adorned with intricate carvings and sacred murals, serves as a monastic and cultural hub, offering a glimpse into Bhutan’s rich spiritual history. As we continue our journey, we take a delightful detour to a local village to visit Chimi Lhakhang, affectionately known as the Temple of Fertility. Built in honor of the legendary Divine Madman, Drukpa Kunley, this revered monastery is known for its quirky yet profound blessings, believed to bestow fertility upon those who seek it. As we arrive in Punakha, you’ll check into your resort, where you can soak in breathtaking views of the serene valley, framed by emerald- green fields and the gentle flow of the Mo Chhu and Pho Chhu rivers—the perfect setting to unwind and embrace Bhutan’s natural beauty.
